Lash Lift Course

In our course, you will learn the art of eyelash lifting and tinting. Also known as LVL within the beauty industry, eyelash perming/lifting is a treatment which creates a fuller look to your natural lashes. Some people don’t like the idea of having eyelash extensions as it can look too full on at times, therefore perming/lifting gives a more natural affect.

Perming/lifting is a semi-permanent method of curling your eyelashes. Curled eyelashes will enhance the appearance of your clients eyes and lasts an average of 4-5 weeks. This is a method of enhancing your eyelashes and your face giving an open eyed look. An eyelash lift gives the lashes a lift from the root using silicone pads whereas an eyelash perm/lift gives the lashes a curled look using sticky rollers. The Eyelash Lift & Tint course entails both techniques of eyelash lift and the perming method.

Course content

• Contra-indications & Contra-actions

Recognise conditions (contra-indications) that may prevent lash lifting and understand how to address unexpected reactions (contra-actions) during or after the treatment for a safe and successful outcome.

• Consult with Client

Develop effective consultation skills, learning to communicate with clients about their expectations, preferences and any concerns they may have. This ensures a personalised and satisfactory lash lift experience.

• Patch Testing

Comprehend the significance of patch testing, a crucial step to identify potential allergic reactions or sensitivities to products. This precautionary measure enhances client safety and promotes confidence in the treatment.

• Prepare and Plan for the Treatment

Master the organisation and planning involved in a lash lift session. This includes setting up the treatment space efficiently and preparing the client for a comfortable and effective experience.

• Explanation of Products

Gain in-depth knowledge of the products used in lash lifting. Understand the properties of each product, how they interact and their role in achieving the desired results, ensuring informed and skilful application.

• Procedure & Relaxing of Eyelash Perming

Explore the step-by-step process of eyelash perming, learning techniques for a relaxing experience. Understand the nuances of the procedure to enhance effectiveness while ensuring client comfort.

• Aftercare Advice

Develop the ability to provide comprehensive aftercare guidance. Instruct clients on maintaining and caring for their lifted lashes post treatment to maximise longevity and uphold the health of the natural lashes.

• Health and Safety Law

Understand the legal obligations and standards regarding health and safety in the beauty industry. Comply with regulations to create a secure and compliant working environment for both practitioners and clients.
