First Aid at Work 3 Day

The First Aid at Work is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. It is ideal for a variety of workplaces; from high-risk construction sites to those employing people with disabilities and medical conditions.

This First Aid at Work course includes the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work course and further equips the first-aider to apply first aid to a broad range of specific injuries and illnesses.

Course duration

This course runs over 18 hours spread over at least 3 days. Ideally, the course should be run over three consecutive days, but we have the flexibility to accommodate your specific needs if you so desire, providing it is completed within 4 weeks of starting the course.

 

Assessment & Certification

Each attendee is independently examined on the final afternoon of the course. Upon successful completion, certification is valid for three years. If you have previously completed the full 3-day First Aid at Work Course and your certificate is in date or within 28 days after the expiry date you may wish to consider the 2-day requalification course. Under the current guidelines, it is 'strongly recommended' that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every 12 months - before completing full re-qualification training at the 3-year point.

Each learner will also receive a comprehensive First Aid Manual.
