This course is an ideal introduction for employees who are about to start work in the Construction industry or established employees who have previously worked in the domestic market and are now entering the commercial environment.
This training gives candidates a good awareness of the main points involved in Construction safety and compliance and how to comply with Health & safety Legislation.
The Points covered will Include:
- Understanding Health & Safety Law.
- Appreciating the need to work safely and to ask for advice if not sure.
- The Obligations to report unsafe acts to prevent accidents.
- Understanding the need for Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Identifying how the employee’s role fits in with the control and management of the site.

Qualifications
CITB Site Safety Plus Health And Safety Awareness Certificate. Certification for this course is valid for 5 years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
Assessments
At the end of the course candidates will take a multiple-choice examination with results given on the day.
Requirements
Delegates must be competent in English at operative level and must have a valid ID , Passport/driving licences which will need to be shown before the start of the course.
