VTCT Level 3 Reflexology Diploma

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a reflexologist. This includes all the required elements to work effectively as a reflexologist including, mandatory units covering the following: knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology treatments. You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to use reflexology techniques for relaxation and to promote self-healing for your clients. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients

This qualification will confirm your competence for employment as a reflexologist. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as a reflexologist. Career opportunities as a reflexologist exist in a variety of contexts, including:

Anatomy and Physiology

• Detailed study of the anatomy and physiology of the feet, hands and ears

• Identification of common pathologies and conditions relevant to reflexology practice

Reflexology Techniques

• Comprehensive training in reflexology techniques including thumb walking, finger walking and rotation pressure
• Application of pressure to specific reflex points to stimulate corresponding organs and systems
• Use of relaxation techniques to enhance the effectiveness of reflexology sessions
• Integration of reflexology into holistic treatment plans for clients

Client Consultation and Assessment

• Conducting thorough client consultations to gather relevant medical history and lifestyle information
• Assessing clients' feet, hands, and ears to identify areas of tension, congestion or imbalance
