Our Chemical Peels course comprises of both theory and practical elements on Chemical Peel techniques, and has been structured from start to finish with you in mind, to assure that when you complete your aesthetic training, you will leave with the specialist skills that will help you feel confident to perform Chemical Peels procedures.

You will gain practical experience both in the classroom and working on live models.

Course content

Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin:

• Detailed understanding of skin structure, layers and functions to facilitate effective treatment planning.
• Knowledge of skin types, conditions, and factors influencing skin health to ensure tailored solutions.

Health and Safety:

• Implementation of rigorous hygiene protocols and safety measures to maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Adherence to health and safety standards and regulations to minimise risks and ensure client well-being.

Treatable Skin Conditions:

• Identification of various skin concerns suitable for treatment, including acne, pigmentation and ageing signs.
• Customisation of treatment plans based on individual skin conditions and client preferences.

Products and Ingredients Used During Treatment:

• Exploration of different skincare products and active ingredients utilised in treatments.
• Understanding the properties and benefits of ingredients such as acids, antioxidants and peptides for targeted skincare solutions.

Peels & the Benefits:

• Understanding the mechanisms and benefits of chemical peels for skin rejuvenation and renewal.
• Appreciation of the exfoliating, brightening, and anti-ageing effects of peels to address diverse skin concerns.

Skin Conditions & Contra-indications:

• Recognition of skin conditions appropriate for treatment and identification of contraindications.
• Thorough assessment of client suitability and safety considerations to mitigate potential adverse reactions.

Consultation & Pre-peel Advice:

• Conducting comprehensive client consultations to assess skin condition, concerns and treatment goals.
• Providing pre-treatment guidance on skincare preparation, expectations and potential side effects for informed consent.

Aftercare & Post Treatment Advice:

• Provision of post-treatment care instructions and recommendations for optimal results and recovery.
• Guidance on skincare routines, sun protection, and lifestyle modifications to maintain skin health post treatment.

Q&A and Certification:

• Addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding treatments, outcomes and skincare regimens.
• Provision of certification upon course completion to validate competency and expertise in skincare treatments.

Live Model Experience:

• Hands-on practice with live models to gain practical experience in treatment delivery and client interaction.
• Application of learnt techniques and protocols under supervision to enhance skill proficiency and confidence.

Business Setup:

• Guidance on establishing and managing a skincare business, including marketing strategies, pricing structures and client acquisition.
• Insights into legal and regulatory requirements, insurance coverage and ethical considerations for business success and sustainability.
