Our Skin Rejuvenation course is taught by our advanced Nurse Practitioner and has been structured from start to finish with you in mind, to assure that when you complete your training, you will leave with the specialist skills that will help you feel confident to perform Skin Rejuvenation procedures.

This aesthetic training course covers the anatomy and physiology of the skin to ensure you have the knowledge and understanding of human related mechanisms that could have some involvement in the process of these treatments, and in order to aid in your knowledge of the procedures in Skin Rejuvenation.

You will gain practical experience both in the classroom and working on live models.

Course content

Background of the Profhilo Product

  • Understanding the history, composition, and mechanism of action of Profhilo, a bio-remodelling injectable treatment containing high concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and overall quality.

Hyaluronic Acid

  • Exploring the properties and functions of hyaluronic acid in the skin, including its role in hydration, tissue repair and collagen synthesis.

Anatomy and Physiology

  • Studying the structure and function of the skin, including its layers, cellular components and physiological processes involved in ageing and regeneration.

Anatomy of the Skin

  • Examining the different layers and structures of the skin, as well as their significance in the context of Profhilo treatment.

Skin Ageing

  • Understanding the factors contributing to skin ageing, such as intrinsic and extrinsic factors, and how Profhilo can address signs of ageing such as wrinkles, sagging and loss of elasticity.

  • Identifying the specific areas of the face and body that can benefit from Profhilo treatment, including the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

Level 3 NVQ in beauty or equivalent, 6 months experience in a skin invasive treatment such as microblading, microneedling, SPMU or a current injectables qualification. Enquire for any further advice.
