Vitamin B12 Injection

Our Vitamin B12 course is taught by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner and has been structured from start to finish with you in mind, to assure that when you complete your training, you will leave with the specialist skills that will help you feel confident to perform Vitamin B12 procedures.

Our courses in aesthetics cover the anatomy and physiology of the skin to ensure you have the knowledge and understanding of human related mechanisms that could have some involvement in the process of these treatments, and in order to aid in your knowledge of the procedures in Vitamin B12.

Vitamin B12 injections are used to prevent or treat a deficiency. The injections are administered intramuscular or into muscle. Vitamin B12 injections have become very popular in recent years as busy lifestyles often lead to poor diet and deficiency. Vitamin B12 injections often result in an energised more balanced state of being.

You will gain practical experience both in the classroom and working on live models.

Course content

• Understanding and implementing protocols and practices to maintain a safe environment for both practitioners and clients during vitamin B12 injection procedures, including infection control, hygiene standards and emergency procedures.

Client Consultation

• Conducting thorough consultations with clients to assess their medical history, symptoms and goals, as well as to ensure their suitability for vitamin B12 injections and address any concerns or questions.

Anatomy and Physiology

• Studying the structure and function of the human body, particularly the role of vitamin B12 in metabolism, neurological function and red blood cell production.

Insurance

• Obtaining appropriate professional indemnity insurance coverage to protect against potential liability claims arising from vitamin B12 injection treatments.

Vitamin B12 and its Effects on the Body

• Exploring the importance of vitamin B12 in maintaining overall health and wellbeing, including its role in energy production, nerve function and DNA synthesis.

Pre and Post Treatment Procedures
